Indus Valley
The
Indus Valley civilization was the world’s most planned most planned and most
known civilization. It is known for its drainage system, water purification
systems and towns (upper town, middle town, and lower town). Most high class
people lived in the low town, middle class people lived in the middle town as
well as third class people and the high town was for governmental workers and
governmental issues.
Art and
Sculpture
There weren't any paintings but there were sculptures
like the Dancing Girl which is 12 centimeters tall.
Trade
City workers
traded beads, gold, silver and pots. Farmers traded food, grains and
other agricultural items.
Agriculture and Food
The Indus Valley
people kept cattle, pigs, sheep and goat for food. They grew dates, plums,
melons, rice and grains. They were healthier fed than other civilizations.
The End
of the Indus Valley Civilization
In my perception
the Indus Valley ended because their trade stopped, there were to many people, and
probably the reservoirs flooded.
My Reflection
I
think that the Harappa civilization was the world’s most unique civilization.
I think this because:
1. There
were many advantages of the Indus Valley;
2. Their
drainage system
3. Their
water reservoirs
4 Their
system of water purification
Their
livelihood in the cities
Their
trade
Their
farming
Their
pets
Their
food
Their goods
Their system of living
Their EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
